West of Fairfield
Thursday Afternoon.

Funeral services for Ralph Cochennour were held from Nales Funeral Home Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Hilton Longberry officiating.  Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery.

Mr. Cochennour, 40, died at Memorial hospital at 5:15 Thursday afternoon, two hours after being critically injured in a car wreck with Philip Adams east of theSims crossroads.  Their car, driven by Adams, went off the highway and smashed into a tree.

For more than 10 years from 1931, he was engaged in business here as Cochennour Brothers, and under his own name, later.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Cochennour, of Fairfield; a brother, Guy, and family of Marion; his former wife, Opal, of Fairfield; his two children, and many other relatives and friends.  One brother preceded him in death.
