Mrs. Clela Butcher, 91, of Flora, and a former resident of Cisne and Sis, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 199, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
She was a homemaker.
Funeral rites were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with burial in Floral Garden of Memories at Flora. A visitation was held at Hosselton’s in Cisne Saturday evening.
She was born at Sims Oct. 19, 1907, the daughter of Will and Elizabeth Shehorn Malone.
She married in February 1927, to Burlie Butcher. He passed away in August, 1983. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
She was a member of Round Prairie General Baptist Church at Johnsonville.
The Survivors
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Rowena) Tibbs of Flora; one grandson, Marvin Tibbs of Flora; and three great grandaughters.
