Rhoda Belle Ray, daughter of Mary Jane and Jeptha Ray was born September 1st, 1884; departed this life February 29th, 1920, age 35 years, 5 months and 29 days.

She was married to Loren Henson February 7th, 1906.  To this marriage union there were born 7 children, 3 girls and 4 boys, 2 children have preceded her to the city beyond. A loving husband, 5 children and 3 sisters and 1 brother mourn their loss.  Rhoda professed faith in Jesus Christ some years ago and united with the Missionary Baptist church and still professed a hope in Christ unto the end.

Funeral services were held at the residence and conducted by Rev. J. R. Dixon of Sims. Interment at the Pin Oak cemetery.
