Mrs. Cora Walker, 86, Dies
Mrs. Cora Walker, 86, the widow of Charles Walker, a Berry township farmer, died at Memorial hospital at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Walker, had been in decling health for a month, her family said. She was a farm wife.
Services
Mrs Walker was born in Berry Township, Sept 12, 1891, the daughter of Phillip and Susan (David) Pike. As a small child, she moved with her family to Brown County, Ind.
She was married Jan. 4, 1911, to Charles H. Walker. He died Jan 9, this year. They farmed in the Covington area.
Mrs. Walker was a member of the RLDS Church in Fairfield.
The Survivorsd
Surviving are one son, Charles T., of the Covington area; six daughters, Mrs. Glen (Edna) Legg, Ferne Matthews, Mrs. James (Louise) Legg, and Mrs. Clarence ( Gladys) Windland, all of Fairfield; Mrs. Bill (Frances) White, of Cisne; and Mrs. Bill (Hesper) Folger, of New Carlisle, Ind; 28 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also reared in her home were a granddaughter, Mrs Earl (Monzell) Withrow, and a great granddaughter, Bonnie.
Preceding her in death were her husband, two sons, and her parents
