January 1933
Frankie Laverne, second son of Chas. and Eva Haught was born on the old homestead in Indian Prairie township, November 30, 1897. He grew to manhood in the community of his birth where he was held in high esteem byn all who knew him.
He was always a good boy, industrious and loyal to his parents. While he never identified himself with any church, he often expressed his confidence in the Supreme Creator. He had been in poor health for about three years and all efforts to restore his health were of no avail. Death came to relieve his weary body at the home of his parents, near Cisne, Wednesday night, January 4, 1933, at ten-forty o’clock, aged 35 years, one month and five days.
He is survived by his parents and one brother, Willie Haught of Fairfield besides a host of other relatives and many dear friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services were conducted from the Cisne Christian church, Friday
morning at ten-thirty o’clock by Elder W.D. Crippin. Interment was in the
Cisne cemetery.
