November 1945

Joseph Christopher Harrolle, son of Wesley and Deliah Harrolle was born near Wayne City, Oct. 4th, 1878, and departed this life at his home Nov. 23rd, 1945, at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 19 days.

On November 3rd, 1908, he was united in marriage to Sarah Buchanan. To this union one child was born.

When a young man he was converted and united with the Olive Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Flossie Hennemann of Belleville, Ill., 3 stepchildren, Mrs. Florence Petsch of St. Louis, Mo., Guy and Arthur Buchanan of Wayne City, one brother Fred of Rockford, Ill., three sisters, Mrs. Ducy Mayberry, Mrs. Pearl Shelton of Wayne City, Mrs. Lucy Robinson of Harvey, Ill., one granddaughter and other relatives and friends.
