November 1945

James Harel, son of John and Lorene Garrison, was born in Sims August 3rd, 1913, and passed away at the McLeansboro Hospital Monday, Nov. 26th, 1945. Age 32 years, 3 months and 23 days.

On December 7th, 1932, he was united in marriage to Vina Withrow. To this union one son was born.

In March 1940, he professed faith in Christ and placed his membership with the Sims Christian Church.

He was a member of Orel Lodge No. 759 A.F.& A.M. at Wayne City.

Surviving are his wife, son Bobby, father and mother, two brothers, Bailey and Barney of Anderson, Ind.; one sister, Wilma, at home; two nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

We sadly miss you Harel,
Your voice so sweet and dear,
Those welcome, friendly footsteps,
We never more shall hear.
You knew we loved you dearly,
But Jesus loved you best,
And in His tender mercy,
Has called you home to rest.
