Noel Guy, eldest son of Arthur B. and Martha G. Case, was born in Wayne County, Illinois, March 6th, 1909; departed this life at the Olney Sanitarium, September 20, 1927, at the age of eighteen years, six months and fourteen day.

He spent his entire life in the community of his birth. His pleasant disposition won friends for him wherever he was known.

He leaves to mourn his untimely departure, his parents, four sisters, Lucile, Agnes Marie, Hazel Ruth, and Edna Myrtle, three brothers, Henry Buel, Arthur Glen, and John Clement, all at home, a beloved sweetheart, Miss Florence Green, of Geff, two grandfathers, C.V. Long and John Case, one grandmother, Mrs. C.V. Long, a great grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Guyot and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the home Thursday afternoon, September 22nd, at one o’clock by Elder W.D. Crippin. A large attendance at the service with many beautiful flowers attested to the respect in which this young man was held by all those who knew him. Interment was in the Cisne cemetery.
