Seriously Ill
For Past Eight Weeks
Lee Grice, well-known Fairfield resident died Saturday at his home of a kidney complication. He had been seriously ill for the past eight weeks. He was 70 years of age.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Christian church, with Rev. E. M. Leckrone officiating, assisted by Kent M. Dale. Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery.

Isaac Lee Grice, son of Pierson Bamont and Emma Sarah Grice, was born March 29th, 1881, in Jasper township.
He was united in marriage to Bessie Bell Creighton on July 28th, 1910. To this union were born three children.
Mr. Grice professed faith in Christ at an early age and remained an active member of the Fairfield First Methodist church until his serious illness and death.
Surviving are his wife, the three daughters, Mrs. Opal Cochennour, Mrs. Richard (Wanda Irene) Hess, and Mrs. J. Ed (Emma Ruth) Holt; five grandchildren; and one sister, Grace McNeely.
