Sadie Esther, daughter of William H. and Emma Fitch, was born November 6, 1894; departed this life in St. Louis, Missouri, March 27, 1935, age 40 years, 4 months and 21 days.  She was united in marriage with W. P. Matthews in 1918.  He preceded her in death a couple of years ago.  She is survived by her aged mother, three brothers: G. C. Fitch, of Flora, Wayne and Delbert, of near Cisne; three sisters, Mabel Judd, of Allenville, Myrtle Stevens and Iva Frazier, both of St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral services were conducted from the old home near Cisne, Friday morning by Elder W. D. Crippin.  Interment was in the Fitch cemetery.
