and 11 days.
She was untied in marriage to Alexander H. Silvey in 1866 who preceded her in death January 3, 1928.
To this union was born 12 children. 4 preceded him in death in infancy. She leaves to mourn his departure, 8 children namely: Effie Cardrell Vess, Iona Rush, Melvin, Lula Cardrell of Lawrenceville; Otto, of Luka; Maud Burkett and Edman all of Xenia. 48 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Inlia VAUGHN, of Stoutland, MO, and a host of relatives and friends.

Presbyterian Church about 38 years ago with her husband. She
joined the Pleasant Mount church and lived a consistent Christian life
until death.. . We weep not thou who have no hope feeling that
our loss is his eternal gain.
"Aunt Nan" as she was generally known was a devoted wife, kind and loving mother and a splendid neighbor She was always ready and willing to help those in trouble or distress. Her greatest pleasure was lending a helping hand and comforting the sick.
"Aunt nan" and Uncle Alex were so devoted to each other that they have often said they did not wish to live after the other had passed away so the wish ws gratified as she only lived about 52 hours after he departed.
All but one of her children were at her bedside when she departed
Although mother was with us many years yet her departure brought many
tears. But we in humble
submission say, "Gods will be done."
Dear Father, day by day,
We saw you fade and gently pass away.
If tender and loving hands care
Could death prevent
Your days would not so soon be spent.
Funeral services were conducted by R. C. Butchers at Powers Church Wednesday after which the body was laid to rest in the cemetery nearby.
