Mrs. Clara Lasater, 76, 407 South First, died at 9 a.m. Monday (today) at Memorial Hospital. A longtime Fairfield resident, Mrs. Lasater entered the hospital Wednesday after suffering an earlier stroke two or three years ago. Was Doctor's Receptionist

She worked for many years as receptionist in the office of Dr. G. T. Ransom.

The body has been removed to Nale's Funeral Home, with funeral arrangements not completed at press hour.

Mrs. Lasater resided at Barnhill a number of years before moving to Fairfield. Her husband, Wilber (Wib) Lasater, preceded her in death. The Survivors Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mary Hamilton, of Pullman, Wash.; three granddaughters,Mrs. Becky Elliott, of Cisne; and Mrs. Joy Willis and Mrs. Helen Dixon, both of Olney; and 11 great-grandchildren.
