OTIS WEEDON DIES
SUDDENLY IN MICHIGAN
Son of Lew Weedon
Suffered a Heart Attack
Body Returned Here for Burial
Otis Weedon, 36, former Fairfield boy, son of Lew Weedon here, died suddenly at his home in Roseville, Michigan, about two o'clock Sunday morning from a heart attack. Mr. Weedon appeared to be in the best of health and was not known to be suffering from a heart ailment. He had attended a motion picture show there that evening with his wife and died after returning home.
Funeral services will be conducted from the First Christian church here on Wednesday afternoon (today) at 2:30 by Kent M. Dale. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery.
Otis was born in St. Francisville on April 11th, 1912, and for several years made his home in Wayne county with his parents. About twelve years ago he moved to Roseville where he has been employed by his brother in the C. Weedon Storm and Sash Equipment Company.
He was a member of the Christian church.
He was united in marriage to Mildred Andrews, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Andrews, of Jasper township, and to this union two children
were
born.
Surviving are his widow and two children, Roy Lewis, 12 and Ronnie, 6; his father; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Brown, of Pasadena, California; and two brothers, Charles of Pontiac, Michigan and Lewis of Dallas, Texas.
The body was met in Vincennes, Indiana, Tuesday, by Dixon & Crippin funeral car and returned to their funeral home where it remained until the funeral hour.
