John Fitch, one of the oldest and wealthiest citizens in the north part of the county, died at his house in Elm River Township Monday morning of this week. Mr. Fitch recently divided about $11,000 into five shares and gave it to his children and grand-children. He was supposed to have about ten thousand more in four hundred acres of fine land. The deceased had been a hard worker all his life, the funeral took place Tue.
