Mrs. Golda Jones, 77, the wife of Robert Jones, an Elm River township farmer, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Jones had been ill for quite some time, the Press was told. Her condition worsened Saturday and she was rushed to the hospital.
Services Tuesday
Friends may call at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday (tonight).
Mrs. Jones was born in Wayne County Apr. 10, 1901, the daughter of Oliver and Olive (Bowman) Holmes.
She was married Apr. 8, 1922, to Robert Jones, in Mt. Erie.
Mrs. Jones was a farmwife and was a member of the Brown Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, of Geff; one son, Neal Jones, of Geff; one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Reba) Fitch, of Cisne; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest, Calvin, Virgil and Glen; and her parents.
