Mrs. Bertie Dalton, formerly of near Mt. Erie, died in the Salem Memorial hospital Wednesday morning.  She had been in failing health for a number of months.

Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist church near Mt. Erie Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock.  Interment will be in the Browns [sic] cemetery.

Mrs. Dalton is the widow of the late Joe Dalton, of the Mt. Erie community.  She has made her home in Salem for the past six years.

Surviving are two sons, Bernice, of Peoria; Russell, of Salem, and a daughter, Dorothy Fehr, of Springfield.
