EUGENE CLINE, 49, DIES
Eugene Cline 49, of Xenia, a conservation officer at the Sam Dale Lake at Johnsonville, died at 12:45 a.m. Friday at the Flora hospital.
Mr. Cline had been in a coma since he suffered a stroke Jan. 3 while at work at the lake. He never regained consciousness.
SERVICES HELD
Mr. Cline was born in Wayne County, south of Boyleston, on Mar. 7, 1930, the son of Elmer and Debra (Morland) Cline. He was married to Helen Barbre, who survives.
His mother, Debbie Cline is well-known in the Fairfield area. For years she worked as a cook at the Grill Cafe.
Surviving are his widow, of Xenia; his mother; six sons, Wesley Eugene, Robert Eugene, Joseph Allen, Gary Lee, Billy Joe and Roy Dale all of Fairfield; two daughters, Becky Sue and Edna Mae, both of Fairfield and nine grandchildren.
