88-year-old Fairfield, Illinois resident Lauretta Hoffee died at 9:23 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at Aperion Care of Fairfield. She was the housekeeper at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield for 42 years. Lauretta attended the First General Baptist Church.
Lauretta was born March 28, 1929 in Mt. Zion, Illinois to J. Winfield Haegele and Myrtle Fowler Haegele. She was united in marriage June 6, 1947 to Robert Hoffee who died March 28, 1988.
Survivors include a son Bob Hoffee and his wife Linda of Wooster, Ohio; a daughter Vickie Hoffee of Fairfield, Illinois; a sister Beverly Downs of Fairfield, Illinois; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
Lauretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and a grandson.
Funeral services for Lauretta Hoffee will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with Brother Kyle Sessions officiating. Burial will be in Koontz Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois.
Visitation will be conducted Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois.
