Joseph was born November 23, 1953 in Paducah, Illinois to Richard Edward Pierce and Frances Johnson Pierce. He was united in marriage August 5, 1973 in Gilmore, Arkansas to Judy Taylor Pierce.
Survivors include his wife Judy Pierce of Fairfield, Illinois; a son Richard Edward Pierce and his wife Ashley of Shreveport, Louisiana; 2 daughters Tanya Jo Guitron and her husband Louie of Walnut, Mississippi; a brother-in-law Larry Gene Taylor and his wife Tracy of Ashland, Mississippi; 3 sisters-in-law Kathy Hood and her husband Jimmy of Mineola, Texas, Jane Musselwhite and her husband Jerry of Mineola, Texas and Vickie Pierce and her husband Glen of Mineola, Texas; and 6 grandchildren.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 12 Noon Saturday April 28, 2018 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois with Brother Wesley Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon Saturday April 28, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
