Last rites for John A. Wolfe, 68, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the New Zion church, north of Wayne City, by Rev. Hard__ Mayberry. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Wolfe, well known Hickory Hill township farmer, living eight miles northwest of Wayne City, passed away at 1:50 o’clock Monday morning at the Mt. Vernon hospital from injuries suffered Friday when he was struck by a Southern freight train at Keenes. Death was caused by head and chest injuries.
