William Henry Atteberry died Thursday night in a sanitarium at Riverton from tuberculosis. He was born in Wayne county, Oct. 1, 1868, and had spent a great part of his time in and around Bethany. He leaves one brother, D. W. Atteberry of this place, two sisters, Mrs. David Poe of this place and Mrs. Lizzie McConnel of Taylorville.

He was a member of the local Modern Woodman Camp and at one time was a member of the degree team.

The body was brought here Wednesday night and taken to the home of his brother, D. W. Atteberry where a short service was conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. E. L. Carson of the Methodist Church.
