Jesse E. Robbins, son of Thomas and Lucinda Robbins, was born Oct. 15. 1893, near Wayne City, and died at his home in Leroy, Ill., February 9, due to a prolonged illness. He had lived in Leroy the past 15 years.

Surviving are three brothers, C.E. Robbins of Fairfield, Ben of Leroy, and Hugh of Decatur; one sister, Eliza Chapman of Akron, Ohio; three sons, Ernest, who has just recently been discharged, Howard of the Marine Corp., and Marvin of the Navy. Marvin was overseas ad was not present at the funeral. He is also survived by a daughter, Helen, who is a student at Normal Teachers, College, Normal, Ill. His wife preceded him in death.

Funeral services and burial were held Thursday, February 14, at 2:30 P.M., at Leroy, Ill.
