The Press has been informed of the death of Oscar Elmore Brock, of Brady,
Tex., on Monday, Oct. 30, 1995, in Brady.

He was a native of Fairfield but had lived in the Brady area since 1979.

Mr. Brock was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1963. He had served as a Veterans Administration mailroom supervisor for 12 years.

Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Leatherwood Colonial Funeral Home, with burial in Live Oak Cemetery.

Mr. Brock was the son of Eli and Daphne Brock, of Cisne, and was born in Fairfield Aug. 28, 1918.

On July 15, 1950, in Brady, he was married to Lexia Shuffield.

Mr. Brock was a member of the Brady Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite.  Suez Temple and a member of the VFW. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Ernie Hegwer of Hobbs, N.Mex.; a daughter, Celita Beth (Mrs. Tom)  Killingsworth, of San Angelo, Tex.; a brother, Lyndon Gene Brock, of Sycamore, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
