Mrs. Mildred H, 82 of Fairfield died at Fairfield Memorial Hospital at 4:50 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 1995, following a short illness.

She was hospitalized in Evansville prior to the Fairfield hospitalization.

Mrs. Berg was a homemaker.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Bro. Carroll Kakac officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation was conducted at the J@hnson Chapel Saturday evening.

She was born in Wayne County Oct. 26, 1913, the daughter of Roy and Ella Matthews Andrews.

Mrs. Berg was first married to Otis Weedon. He passed away in 1948. Later she was married to Wilbur Berg, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Mrs. Berg was a member of the Fairfield First Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Roy Weedon and Ron Weedon, both of Fairfield; a stepson, Gerry Berg, of Kentucky; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
