Arthur Herwig

80-year-old Fairfield resident, Arthur Herwig died at 4 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He had been an Air Force aviation mechanic.

Survivors include sisters, Ruth Smith of Fairfield and Jeanette Mygrants of New Albany, IN.

Services for Arthur Herwig will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial at 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florrissant, MO.   Visitation will be from 1 - 2 Sunday afternoon, May 17, at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to the Hope Ministry of Geff and will be accepted at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
