FAIRFIELD

Eva L. Jackson, 81, Fairfield, died Friday, July 11, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Ind.

She had worked as a waitress and cook for several local restaurants.

Among her survivors are: three sons, Ray Jackson Jr. and David Jackson of Fairfield, and Jimmy Joe Jackson of Evansville, Ind.; two daughters, Mary Lou Watkins of Joliet and Gayla Hunley of Fairfield; two brothers, Lowell Thackery of Carmi and Walter Thackery of Columbia, IL; two sisters, Freda Reed and Fairy Taylor both of Fairfield; one step-brother, Bob Rainwater of Mill Shoals; one step-sister, Mary Ruth Clark of Mattoon; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Eva L. Jackson were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.
