*BARTONVILLE* - Dora H. Isaacs, 93, formerly of Bartonville, Peoria and Wayne County, Ill., died at the home of her grandson in Springfield, Ill., on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012.

She was born on July 30, 1918, in Wayne County, Ill. She was the daughter of Iley and Dessie (Harrole) Jenkins. She married Coleman Isaacs on May 29, 1938, in Hamilton County, Ill. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1979, in Peoria County, Ill.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Albert Isaacs, two sisters and one half brother.

She is survived by four grandchildren, David (Melinda) Isaacs of Springfield, Ill., Dennis (Patsy) Isaacs of Peoria, Ill., Daniel Isaacs of Bradenton, Fla., and Dora Poorman of Springfield, Ill. She has seven great-grandchildren.

Dora had worked various occupations in the Peoria area, retiring from
the Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville.

She was a member of Our Saviour's Chapel in Peoria.

Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. John Chamness, her nephew, will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Garrison Cemetery, Aden, Ill.
