Mrs. Valma Miles, 78, of Junction, died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 1996, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

She was a sister of Sam Mcpherson, of Mill Shoals.

Funeral rites were held Saturday afternoon at Mt. Zion Church in Cave-In-Rock, with burial in Leamington Cemetery at Junction. Visitation was held Friday evening at the Dox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, in 1981.

Mrs. Miles was a member of the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond, Bernard and Marvin, all of Junction; three sisters, Lou Lambert, of Rosiclaire; Nola Daymon, of Cave-In-Rock and Nettie Lamb of Cincinnati, one brother, Sam McPherson, of Mill Shoals, five grandchildren and six; great-grandchildren.
