Mother Of Wayne City Man Dies At Hamilton Hosp.
Mrs. Clara Braden, 87, of McLeansboro, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 1996, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was a retired clerical Worker for the Hamilton County ASCS Office.

Mrs. Braden was the mother of Harmon Braden, of Wayne City.

Funeral rites will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with Rev. Jeff Hurst and Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Interment will be in Little Springs Cemetery at Dale. Visitation at the Harre Funeral Home will be 5 to 9 Monday evening (tonight).

She was born in Hamilton County Feb. 5, 1909, the daughter of George and Blanche Pulliam Ogden.

On Feb. 15, 1941, she was married to Elmer Braden. He passed away June 1, 1982.

Mrs. Braden was a member of the Hebron Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Walpole.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Braden, of McLeansboro;
and Harmon Braden, of Wayne City; and four grandchildren. In addition to
her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one
sister.
