Herbert H. Worley, 80, of Indianapolis, Ind., died at Westview Hospital there Sunday, June 9, 1996.

Mr. Worley was a native Wayne County.

He was a maintenance foreman at Bridgeport Brass in Indianapolis, retiring in 1976 after 34 years service.
 
 Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Flanner-Buchanan Broad Ripple Funeral Home in Indianapolis, with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens there. Visitation was held at the funeral home Tuesday evening.

Mr. Worley was born in Wayne County Apr. 2, 1916, the son of McClellan and Esther Clark Worley.

He was married to Majel M. Burkett.

Mr. Worley was a member of the Traders Point Christian Church in Indianapolis.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Daryl J. Worley, of Indianapolis, Ind.; a daughter, Sharon J. Bray, of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
