Frank Felty, Jr., 66, of Xenia, died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 1996, at the John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

He had worked for the Indiana Harbor Railroad and also far H & B Ready Mix at Flora.

Funeral rites will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, with Rev. Dale Thomas officiating. Interment, will be in Willow Branch Cemetery at Rinard, with full military rites. Visitation at Frank & Bright's will be 6 to 8 Monday evening (tonight).

He was born at Iuka Feb. 22, 1930, the son of Frank A. and Bertha Sutton Felty, Sr.

Mr. Felty was of the Christian faith and a Korean Army veteran.  He was a member of the Flora American Legion Post No. 14.

Preceding him in death were his  parents, two brothers and an infant sister.

Surviving are two sons, Alan Felty, of Beecher City; and Frank Felty III, of Olney; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Anna
Marie) Duckworth, of Omaha, Neb.; four sisters, Margie Makarczyk, of Flora; Esther Armstrong, of Xenia; Audrey Moore, of Lebanon; and Clara Pierson, of Flora; and four grandchildren.
