Mrs. Orval (Juanita) Floyd, 81, of Springfield, died Thursday evening, June 6, 1996, in that city.

She was a sister of Mrs. Donald (Aileen) Talbert and Mrs. Emil (Georgia) Vaughn, of Fairfield. A third sister lives at Greencastle, Ind.

Mrs. Floyd was a Wayne County native, the daughter of Elmer and Agnes Price, who lived in the Mt. Erie area.

Mrs. Floyd and her husband (he's also from the Mt. Erie area), moved to Springfield in 1963. She was a teacher in Wayne County schools and at Mt. Carmel before moving to Springfield. She retired a number of years ago after teaching in the Springfield schools.

The body was to be cremated with memorial rites.

Surviving are her husband; one son and one daughter, both of Springfield; and three sisters.
