Mrs. Tressie O. Cross, 87, of Wayne City, died at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 1996 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

She was a homemaker.                                    Ò‚é‚

Funeral rites were held Thursday morning (today) from the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City, with Bro Chuck Smith officiating. Burial was in Thomason Cemetery at Wayne City.  Visitation was conducted at Richardson's Wednesday evening.

She was born at Keenes Jan. 29, 1909, the son of James Luella Peddicord Myers.

She was married to Rodrick Cross. He preceded her in death as did her parents, an infant son, three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Cross was a member of the  Wayne City First Christian Church  and the Order of Eastern Star at Rochelle.

Surviving are one brother,  Virgil Myers, of Wayne City.
