Eugene McCracken, 76, of Cisne died at 6:58 a.m. Monday (today) June 3, 1996, at Doctors Nursing Home in Salem.
<p>He was a retired farmer.

Funeral rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Fairfield.

Visitation at Hosselton's will ba from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born at Flora Dec. 20, 1919, the son of Richard and Leota Hubble McCracken.

On June 3, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo., he was married to Eleanor Williams.

Mr. McCracken was a member of the Albion Moose Lodge and the Maple Leaf Lake at Enterprise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two infant brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Donna Jean) Wendling, of Elgin; one son, Albert Ray McCracken, of Cisne; one sister Mrs. Claude Jr. (Ethel Marie) Taylor, of Mt. Erie; one brother, Ralph McCracken, of Cisne; five grandchildren and two great-grandchild.
