Harold Carden, 77, of West Point, Ill., near Quincy, died Sunday, May 21, 1996, at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.      He was a retired farmer and former resident of the Wayne City area. Mr. Carden farmed at Wayne City from 1963 to 1971.      Mr. Carden was a native of Gibson City.

Surviving are his wife, Joan; two sons, Noel and Frank Carden, both of West Point; two daughters, Linda Page, of Keokuk, Iowa; and Louise Kindhart, of West Point; and five grandchildren.
