Rollin "Rodney" Holman, 63, of Louisville, a former Xenia resident, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1984, at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was the brother of Lossie Holman, of Xenia. Mr. Holman was a retired ironworker with Mortz Company at Effingham.

Funeral services Will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home at Flora, with burial in Powers Cemetery near Xenia with full military rites.

Visitation for Mr. Holman will be conducted from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mr. Holman was born at Xenia Oct. 18, 1921, the son of David and Laura (Bullard) Holman. He was wed to Velma Thompson at Flora Feb. 1, 1945.

He was a member of the Flora American Legion, VFW, Elks, Moose and Olney

Survivors include his wife, Velma Holman, of Louisville; one son, Darrell Holman, of Louisville; and a sister, Mrs. Stella Morse, of Mesa, Ariz.
