Retired Texaco pumper, Ira C. Hilliard, 72, of Cisne, died at 3:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 1984, at Flora Care Center at Flora.

Mr. Hilliard was the brother of Mrs. Dan (Edith) Rogers and Willis Hilliard both of Cisne.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial following in Cisne Cemetery.

Mr. Hilliard was born in Wayne County July 17, 1912, the son of William and Alice (Dickey) Hilliard.

He was a member of Rock Branch General Baptist Church at Cisne.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Arn and Deanne Hilliard, both of Byron; two sons, Harold Hilliard, of Byron; and Larry Hilliard, of Rockford; three sisters, Mrs. Dan (Edith) Rogers, of Cisne; and Mrs. Edgar (Allie) Cousin and Mrs. Vincent (Stella) Cousin, both of Springfield; one half-sister, Mrs. Lenora Pennington, of Rochelle; one brother, Willis Hilliard, of Cisne; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death were one sister, five half-sisters and three half- brothers.
