Former Fairfield resident, Mrs. Trecy P. Belt, 89, of Battle Creek, Mich., died Thursday, Nov. 1, 1984, at Provincial House Nursing Home in Battle Creek.

Mrs. Belt was the widow of Mark Belt. The couple moved to Fairfield from Kentucky in 1940. They moved from here to Battle Creek in 1972.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday (today) at Richard Henry Funeral Home, Battle Creek, with Rev. Aaron Webb officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Battle Creek.

Mrs. Belt was born in Tolu, Ky., Sept. 24, 1895, the daughter of Felix and Judie (Wheeler) Hoover.

She married Mark Belt at Elizabethtown Sept. 1, 1915. He died April 18,

Mrs. Belt was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Marvin Belt, of Allen Park, Mich.; Eugene Belt, of Battle Creek, Mich., and Paul Belt, of Marshall, Mich.; three sisters, Oata Mott of Mexico, Ky.; Luna Williams, of Belvidere; and Juanita Cole, Birch Run, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
