Mrs. Emma Denny, 71, Rt. 1, Xenia died at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1984, at Clay County Hospital, Flora.

Mrs. Denny was the widow of Clyde Denny.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at H@sselton Funeral Home, Cisne, with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill (Needmore) Cemetery near Orchardville.

Visitation will be conducted from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cisne.

Mrs. Denny was born in Wayne County June 25, 1913, the daughter of Theron and Mary Elizabeth (Brashear) Allen.

She was married to Clyde Denny at Mt. Vernon. Mr. Denny preceded her in death in 1971.

Mrs. Denny was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Delbert (Edna) Goff and Mrs. Maude Sharar, both of Xenia; and Mrs. Kenneth (Ruby) Armstrong, of Kinmundy.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and her parents.
