Edwin (Ed) Jordan, 71, of Enfield died at his home at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 1984.

Mr. Jordan owned a service station in Enfield for several years. He was a member of the board of directors of the Enfield Bank.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Enfield United Methodist Church with Rev Rick VanGeasin officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 12 noon Friday at Elledge Funeral Home at Enfield

Mr. Jordan was born in Illinois Jan. 14, 1913, the son of Ezekiel and Adelaide (Orr) Jordan.

He wed the former Bonnie Hatcher Feb. 10, 1938.

Mr. Jordan was a member of Enfield United Methodist Church and Kiwanis Club.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jordan, of Enfield, two daughters, Mrs Mary Beth Zerkle, of Mascoutah; and Mrs. Edwina Johansen, of Chantilly, Va., two sisters, Elizabeth and Dorothy Jordan, both of Enfield; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
