Willard Russell, 63, of Dahlgren, a retired welder, the brother of Mrs. Dorothy Bullock, of Wayne City, died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 1984, at Good Samaritan Hospital at Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Russell was a retired welder with Evans Products in Blue Island.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with Rev. Rudolph Schlag officiating. Burial followed in Enfield Cemetery at Enfield.

Mr. Russell was born in White County July 26, 1921, the son of Clarence and Ethel (Hasten) Russell. He was married to Bobbie Kirby, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include four brothers, George, Leonard and Raymond Russell, of Evansville, Ind.; and Charles  Russell, of Dalton, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Bullock, of Wayne City; Mrs. Opal Bruner, of Seattle; and Mrs. Irene Smart and Mrs. Virginia Bullock, both of Dahlgren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.
