Funeral services for Reta Kay Bryant 36, who died Tuesday in a car-train wreck, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bryant was the widow of James Bryant. She was the mother of Melissa Bryant and Traci Strasser, both minor-aged children living at home.
Mrs. Bryant was born in Fairfield May 7, 1948, the daughter of Luther and Phoniee (Buchanan) Dunn. She attended Fairfield schools.
She was married to James Bryant, an Airtex employee, at Carmi Oct. 12, 1974 He preceded her in death July 17, 1980.
Mrs. Bryant was formerly employed at various times as a cleaning woman a salesclerk at Farmer's Store and as a waitress.
Mrs. Bryant followed the Pentecostal faith.
She was a member of the Fairfield American Legion Auxiliary and chaplain at the Eagles.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Bryant and Traci Strasser,
of Fairfield, her father, Luther Dunn, of Fairfield, five brothers, Luther
Lee, Dewey, Charles, and Loren Dunn, all of Fairfield, and Alvin Dunn,
of Leslie,
Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Bernadine Jordan, Mrs. Sonny (Violet) Thomason,
Mrs. Loren (Catherine) Johnston and Mrs. Sharon Harrison, all of Fairfield.
Preceding her in death were her husband, mother, four brothers and a sister.
