Services for Ruth J. Mason, 59, Vincennes, Ind., sister of Dickie Arnold of Fairfield, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Flummerfelt Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes.

Mrs. Mason died at 5:27 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 1989 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

She was born April 18, 1929 in Knox County, Ind., the daughter of Chris and Pearl (Ogden) Arnold.

On March 7, 1947 she married Jack Mason, who survives.

Surviving her are a son, Jack Mason, Jr. of Vincennes; two daughters, Mary Runyon of California and Carol Ann Schwartzlose of Madisonville, KY; four brothers, Dickie Arnold of Fairfield; Charlie of Parkersburg. Ill.; Lee of Indianapolis, Ind., and Clarence of Florida; two sisters, Mary Huffman of Gary, Ind. and Martha Orme of Dayton, Ohio; a step-mother, Esther Arnold of Olney and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and her parents.
