Bertha Jane Brown, 81, Wayne City, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1989 at the Kentucky Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Richardson's in Wayne City with the Rev. Oakley Miller officiating. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday at Richardson's.

Mrs. Brown was born May 15, 1907 in Franklin County, Ill., the daughter of Moses and Della (Webb) Somers.

She was a housewife.

She is survived by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Preceding here in death were her parents and two sons.
