Charles Rayl, 87, of Albion, the brother of Mrs. Howard Seifert, of Fairfield died late Monday afternoon, Sept. 26, 1983, at the emergency room of Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney following an apparent heart attack .

Mr. Rayl was a retired rural mail carrier.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Nales Funeral Home in Albion. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery in that city.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Rayl, of Albion; one daughter, Mrs. Glen Sheppard, of Albion; one sister, Mrs. Howard Seifert, of Fairfield; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
