Funeral services for 10-year-old Bryan Gammon, of Wayne City, the son of Leroy and Sheryl Gammon, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Rev Wilford Musgrave officiated with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery south of Wayne City.

The youth was pronounced dead at 9:35 p.m. Monday, following an accidental drowning in the Little Skillet River near Wayne City.

Bryan was born in Alliance, Ohio, Sept. 10, 1973 the son of Leroy and Sheryl (Catron) Gammon .

He was a fifth grade student at Wayne City Grade School, where he had attended since starting kindergarten.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Gammon, of Wayne City, a paternal grandfather, Johnce Gammon, of Fairfield; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Rufus Catron, of Steward; two brothers, Rocky Gammon and David Gammon, at home; and two sisters, Tonya and Rachel Gammon at home.
