A former Fairfield woman, Mrs. Patricia Sue (Pat) Dalton, 54, of Hempstead, Tex., died at 7: 40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1985, at Anderson Hospital in Houston, Tex., of cancer.

She was the wife of J. R. Dalton, a former Airtex employee who currently works for Marble Oil Company.

Mrs. Dalton's parents, Elinore and the late Fred Harrison, owned and operated a grocery store in Fairfield for a number of years on Northeast Third Street across from the courthouse.

Funeral services are pending at Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dalton is survived by her husband, J. R. Dalton, of Hemstead, Tex.; three children, Pamela Woods and Michael Dalton, both of Hempstead; Rick Dalton, of Waller, Tex.; her mother Mrs. Elinore Harrison, of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Dean and Gene Harrison, both of St. Louis, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.
