Mrs. Jesse Jines, 81, of Millstadt formerly of Fairfield and Dahlgren, died 3:05 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 1985, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.

Mrs. Jines was the daughter of the late James and Martha Summers Brink and the widow of Leslie Jines.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Strauss Funeral Home, Millstadt, with Rev. Browning Phillips officiating. Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. at the IOOF Cemetery at Dahlgren.

Mrs. Jines was born in Fairfield, Nov. 8, 1903. She was a retired school cafeteria employee.

She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Millstadt and the Millstadt Women's Club.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Doris) Linck, of Millstadt; one stepdaughter-in-law, Rose Jines, of Belleville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one step-son, a brother and one sister.
