Charles E. Potter, 72, a former Fairfield boy, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at a Denver, Colo., hospital.
He lived at Morrison, Colo., a suburb of Denver, and had lived in the Denver area since about 1940. He was
with the Bradford-Robinson Printing Company in Denver.
Mr. Potter was a brother of Clarence Potter here.
In failing health for several years, Mr. Potter fell and broke
his hip Thursday.
Funeral plans were not immediately learned here but are to be held in Colorado.
He was born in Fairfield Aug. 30, 1913, the son of Rance and Janie Phelps Potter.
He went to school in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in
Surviving are a daughter, Penny Stiers, of Morrison, Colo.; and two sons, Peter and Ronnie; and his brother,
Clarence Potter, Fairfield. His wife preceded him in death.
