Mrs. Sarah Ellen Jones, 83, widow of Tillman Jones, died last Thursday at 1:30 p.m., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Zella Adams, in Taylorville. Mrs. Jones was a resident of Johnsonville.

Surviving are two sons, Wesley and Otis Jones, both of Mt. Vernon, and two daughters, Mrs. Ollie Owens of Fairfield and Mrs. Adams.

The remains were taken to Combs Funeral Home in Wayne City and prepared for burial. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Oak Grove church near Johnsonville, with Rev. Austin Donoho in charge. Burial was in Bailey cemetery.
